Mission Statement
The goal of the Health Information Technology and Simulation (HITS) lab is to advance the science of health information technology and maximize healthcare impact through interprofessional and industry partnerships and extramural funding resulting in national and international recognition for the work of HITS, its partners, and stakeholders. HITS strives to contribute to the technology transfer process and entrepreneurship in academia and the biotechnology industry to improve healthcare treatment options and professional and consumer health education.
